When buying a home, inspections are conducted to determine if the home is sound and in good condition for the prospective buyer and to ensure the home is insurable.
We can assist with your comprehensive full home inspection needs when purchasing a home in Florida, ensuring your new home is a financially-sound purchase.
Home condition reports are often required when obtaining a new or updated home insurance policy. We assess your roof, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems via our Four Point inspections, or just your roof system with a Roof Inspection.

Buying a home is an extremely important investment. Our thorough and comprehensive Full Home inspections detail deficiencies and/or required repairs so you can make an informed decision before you buy. These reports may also identify future maintenance items of the home to help you anticipate costs associated with recurring repairs or updates.
Most insurance companies in Florida require some sort of condition assessment reports prior to underwriting a new coverage policy. Our Four Point inspections assess four key areas of the home: Electrical, Plumbing, Roof, and HVAC (heating and cooling). If any of these systems exhibit deficiencies or require repairs, an underwriter may request these repairs to be completed prior to initiating a new policy.
Roof Certification inspections are similar to Four Point inspections in that they assess condition, but these only focus on your roof system and aim to provide an estimated number of years of useful life left remaining on your roof covering (whether it be asphalt shingles, tiles, metal, rolled membrane, or a mixture of these coverings).
Wind Mitigation inspections, on the other hand, are not condition assessments, but rather reports which identify potential hurricane-resistant features of your home, such as hurricane shutters over windows, roof-to-wall attachments, and upgraded roofs. These features may entitle you to discounts on your insurance premiums as a result of decreased risk to the insurer.
